Feversham College was established in 1984 as an Independent Muslim girl’s school with approximately 24 pupils on roll. In 2001 the school joined the state sector as a voluntary aided school before converting to Academy status in 2011. The school now has a PAN of 120 in all year groups and will have an expected 840 on roll by 2016 (including sixth form).

Feversham College has consistently ranked in the first percentile in the country for value added.

In 2012 we opened Feversham First Steps Nursery, rated outstanding by Ofsted in the same year. The nursery now has more than a hundred 0 – 5 year olds on roll and continues to thrive as a beacon of best practice.

Feversham College was awarded teaching school status in 2012 and we have an established legal partnership with Skipton Girls High School for both our Teaching Schools; Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance. We work with over 20 key partners on improving outcomes for learners, leadership development and recruitment of teachers.

Feversham College is also a National Support School, the Headteacher being a National Leader of Education.

We are driven by a moral imperative, every child deserves the highest quality of education, pupils only get one chance.

Feversham First Steps Nursery

The nursery was opened by Feversham College in 2011 with an aim to address the needs of the local community by offering outstanding early years care and education. The nursery received an outstanding judgement from Ofsted in its first year and remains a beacon of early year’s provision supported by the Local Authority and community. Due to the continuous drive and commitment from the nursery Directors and Feversham College, First Steps has continued to expand and grow in both size and reputation. A significant capital investment given by the Council along with a strategic reinvestment plan by the Directors has allowed First Steps to now offer care and education for over 100 children in its bespoke learning environments.

This includes three separate learning and care facilities for babies, two to four year olds and a dedicated pre-school environment with highly trained and qualified staff.

First Steps also actively supports apprenticeship pathways for young adult workers to gain valuable work experience working closely with local business and higher education providers. Staff training and development is encouraged as is work experience placement for secondary age learners.

Bradford Girls AcademyBradford Girls Academy

Feversham Education Trust is an established Multi Academy Trust set up to sponsor schools of Faith and those with none. The Trust currently comprises of one outstanding secondary Muslim girls school (11-18), a joint venture teaching school, an early years nursery provision and a mixed secondary school (11-18).

Feversham Education Trust (FET) will continue to play a pivotal role of raising educational standards for learners across all age ranges in Bradford. Our ambition is to grow to 9 schools within the Trust with a mix of Primary, Secondary and Free Schools that enable educational coherence across phases and offer a real choice for parents.

Our proposal for an 11-18 girls Free School with a four form entry called Bradford Girls Academy (BGA) has been approved and we hope to open our doors in September 2019.

Queensbury School Qbury

Queensbury School became an Academy and joined Feversham Education Trust in September 2016. We have been a popular choice with parents for many years. There are approximately 960 students on roll.

Queensbury School is a friendly, thriving and stimulating place to work and study. We expect that every student will achieve their very best. We welcome all parents to take an active part in their child’s education and encourage them to form a partnership with us to ensure their children achieve their best.

At Queensbury School our staff inspire, have high expectations and raise the aspirations of young people and this is supported through a system of individual advice, guidance and coaching. We put students at the heart of our plans and policies and the school’s award of Investor in Pupils is an example of this continued commitment. At the centre of our developing student leadership programme is a thriving Student Council who are increasingly informed and involved in decisions about their school.
